Everyday seems to be the same I awake with sadness and regret Obviously times have changed I once was full of life , laughter and confidence But seem to have lost it all I close my eyes for a moment in order to regain control These thoughts of the past Bring me down to that dark place Continuously fighting to carry on my exterior perceives to be so strong But my thoughts within are devastating Surely I wish not to abandon all of you Realizing my presence is needed As if I am the calming of your storms But now every time I close my eyes I'm screaming a desperate cry To be taken away Laid down to rest for eternity
